What we do
Joint Relief Report reviews topical products for joint and knee pain — gels, creams and balms. We buy what we test, use it on real joints for weeks rather than minutes, and publish the drawbacks alongside the benefits.
How we test
Every product gets a minimum of fourteen days of consistent twice-daily use, applied to the same joints by the same reviewer. We record time-to-first-effect, how long relief lasts, and the duration of next-morning stiffness, because duration is the number that reflects real life.
How we rank
Depth of relief carries 35% of the score, duration of relief 25%, ingredient quality and published evidence 20%, daily usability 12% and cost per week 8%. Star ratings and review counts inform the picture but never decide the order.
How we are funded
Through affiliate commissions, including the Amazon Associates programme. If you buy through our links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commission rates play no part in the ranking, and we state plainly where our #1 pick falls short.
What we are not
We are not your clinician, and nothing on this site is medical advice or a diagnosis. Joint pain can have serious causes. Please read our red flags guide and speak to a doctor before starting anything new.
